This made me grin.  I love the fact that the baker took the time to, not only colour code all the elements, but also included a key at the top of the table.  That’s 124 cupcakes by the way!

This is the first part of a two part comic strip highlighting the dangers of homeopathy. The creator, Darryl Cunningham, also did a strip a while back on the dangers that antivaxxers pose.  As a high school science teacher, I get questions about alternative medicines and the use of vaccines from several students; I may point them to these pages in the future.

Diatoms are neat, neat, neat and people have been studying them for a very long time. BibliOdyssey has scanned 17 plates from a 19th century textbook called Mikrogeologie I’ve seen a few of these in my microscope when looking at aquarium sludge.
